Common questions

Is the app completely free?

Yes. Every number from 1 to 100 and all five scenes (Ducks, Flowers, Train, Hops, and Berries) are included. There are no ads, in-app purchases, subscriptions, or trials.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no account or sign-in, and the app never asks for a parent’s or child’s name.

Does the app save progress?

The app remembers your chosen language and last selected number, only on your device. Counted objects, progress, scores, and activity history are not saved; reopening the app or changing the number or scene starts a fresh count.

How do I change the language?

Tap the globe button beside the selected language at the top of the screen and choose from nine languages. The choice changes both the app’s words and the spoken numbers. Korean offers two counting systems: Native (하나, 둘, 셋) and Sino-Korean (일, 이, 삼).

How do I open the grown-ups area?

Press and hold the i button at the end of the top bar for about two seconds. On wider screens it is labeled Grown-ups. A green fill sweeps across the button while you hold, and the grown-ups area opens when it is full. A quick tap does nothing, so little fingers do not open it by accident.

Why can’t I hear the numbers?

Check that the speaker button at the top of the screen is not turned off, then check the device’s media volume and whether audio is going to headphones or another connected device. The spoken numbers are the only sound in the app; there is no music or sound effects.

Does it work offline?

The installed app works completely offline: all artwork and spoken numbers are included. The web version needs a connection the first time it loads; after that it works offline, and numbers you have already heard replay offline too.

How do we start over?

When a count is finished, tap Again. Choosing another number or scene also starts a fresh count. While a count is in progress in Ducks, Flowers, Train, or Hops, the grown-ups area also has Start counting again.
