Common questions

Is Their First Patterns really free?
Yes—completely. There are no ads, in-app purchases, subscriptions, or paid unlocks. Every cast and activity is included.

Do I need an account?
No. There is no account and no sign-in. Your child’s play progress stays on your device.

How does my child start playing?
On the theater screen, tap one of the three rows of performers. That cast will dance briefly and then begin an activity. Tap a performer choice to copy, finish, or fill the visible pattern. The Home button returns to the theater at any time.

Where is the parent area?
Press and hold the door labeled “Parents: Hold 2s to Open Door” for about two seconds. The parent area contains the Sound setting, Reset App Data, privacy information, support, and links to our other family apps.

How do I turn sound off?
Open the parent area and switch Sound off. The setting is remembered on this device.

How do I reset progress?
Open the parent area and choose Reset App Data. After confirmation, this removes the child’s play progress and current activity from the device. Your Sound preference stays unchanged. Uninstalling removes the installed app and its local data from that device, subject to the platform’s normal backup and restore behavior.

Does the app work offline?
Yes. Child play, characters, music, and activities are built into the app and work without wifi or mobile data. An internet connection is used only when an adult deliberately opens an external website, email app, or official store listing.

What information do you collect?
The app automatically collects nothing. There are no accounts, analytics, advertising identifiers, tracking SDKs, or cloud copies of child progress. If you email support, you choose what to send.
