A few useful things.

Where should we start?

Begin with the first sounds, or use “Find a starting lesson” in the parent area. Placement is based on what your child can read, rather than their age alone. You can also look inside a lesson before choosing.

What ages is it for?

It is designed for early readers, roughly ages 3–7, with a parent alongside them for teaching and reading. Later stages also give older beginners room to practice. Choose by readiness, not a birthday.

Can my child practice alone?

Once you’ve taught a lesson, its Practice activities can be opened from the cover. A child who is ready can follow the spoken instructions and use the help controls. Teach and the parent area open directly.

Does it work on a phone or iPad?

Yes—open the workbook in an up-to-date browser on a phone, tablet, or computer. Turn a phone sideways for a larger book. The first sound needs a tap; keep the volume on for spoken help.

Where is progress saved?

Names and progress stay in this browser on this device. There is no account or cloud sync. Clearing this site’s data removes the saved progress. The app and recordings need an internet connection to load when they aren’t already cached.

Is the whole workbook free?

Yes. All 132 lessons are free, with no subscription, purchases, or ads. There are no coins, streaks, or daily lesson limits.
