Privacy Policy — Their First Tidy

What Their First Tidy never does. No ads, no advertising ID, no analytics, no tracking, no accounts, no purchases, and no data sales. It never asks for the camera, microphone, location, contacts, or photos, and on Android it does not even request internet access.
Their First Tidy is an offline game for young children. It does not need an account or an internet connection.
The app does not collect or transmit data. It has no analytics, advertising, attribution, tracking, crash-reporting, or cloud services.
The app keeps only a small, nameless record on the device. It remembers the grown-up's Sound On/Off choice, which scenes have been tidied, and the current scene-card position. There is no name, age, profile, or other play history. Reset Progress in the Grown-Up Menu clears the tidied scenes and position.
The app backs up nothing. Its local files are excluded from Android cloud backup and device transfer and from iCloud backup.
The app is completely free. There are no purchases, subscriptions, ads, accounts, paid levels, or locked activities.
If an adult emails support from this website, they choose what to send. The app does not attach child activity, identifiers, or diagnostics.

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how Their First Words LLC, a California limited liability company (“we,” “us,” or “our”), handles information in connection with the Their First Tidy mobile application (the “App”) and support communications about the App.

2. Scope

This policy applies to the App, this Tidy privacy and support website, and support communications an adult voluntarily sends us about the App. Apple, Google, an email provider, and other services operate under their own privacy policies.

3. Information handling

3.1 Information the App automatically collects

None.

The App never connects to the internet, and it does not collect or transmit personal information, child activity, usage events, advertising identifiers, diagnostics, crash reports, or device records. It has no account, analytics, telemetry, advertising, attribution, cloud database, cloud sync, purchase, subscription, or entitlement service. Its only outside links sit in the adult-gated Grown-Up Menu: our Their First Words app listing, our website, a support email, and this Privacy Policy. Each one is handed to the device's store, browser, or mail app with no play or settings data attached.

3.2 Information stored only on the device

The App's complete durable record consists of:

These values stay inside the App's private local storage. They are not linked to an account, are not visible to us, and are never uploaded or synchronized. The tidied-scene list and scene-card position identify nobody: the App stores no name, age, birthday, profile, score, timestamps, visit history, favourites, or any other record of what a child did. A grown-up can clear the tidied scenes and card position at any time with Reset Progress in the Grown-Up Menu.

All of the App's local files are excluded from Android cloud backup and device-to-device transfer and from iCloud backup.

3.3 Support communications an adult chooses to send

If an adult emails us, we receive the information they choose to provide, such as an email address, message, attachments, and device or app-version details they choose to describe. Please do not include personal information about a child.

We use support communications only to answer the request, troubleshoot a problem, protect our services, or meet legal obligations. The App never prepares, attaches, or sends a support message on its own.

3.4 This website

These static Tidy pages set no advertising or analytics cookies and use no tracking script. Like any website, our hosting provider handles ordinary request information, such as an IP address, to deliver the page and keep the service secure. We never use this site to profile children or families.

4. How we use information

Gameplay, scene selection, interactions, the Sound preference, and the local progress record all stay on the device and send nothing to us. If an adult contacts support, we use their message only for support, safety, and legal purposes, never for advertising or profiling.

5. Sharing and selling

We do not sell personal information. We do not share child activity because the App never collects or receives it. We use no advertising network, analytics provider, attribution provider, data broker, or session-replay service.

An adult's support email is carried and stored by the email providers that deliver it. Our web-hosting provider serves these static pages.

6. App-store statistics

Apple and Google give developers aggregated store information under their own platform terms. The App adds no tracking of its own, and we never use these statistics to identify a child or family.

7. Children's privacy

Their First Tidy is designed for young children and collects no personal information from them. There are no child-facing external links. Outside links appear only in the Grown-Up Menu, which opens after a grown-up taps the For Parents plaque and answers a short addition question written out in words. A child cannot create an account, enter personal details, communicate with us, or make a purchase. The App's only saved play record is the nameless tidied-scene list and scene-card position described above, and it never leaves the device.

Privacy is part of the App's design. It has no behavioral advertising, profiling, location collection, child-facing purchases, social features, user-generated content, or manipulative reward economy.

8. Retention

9. Your choices and rights

Change the Sound setting or use Reset Progress at any time in the protected Grown-Up Menu; Reset Progress clears the tidied-scene list and scene-card position. Removing the App removes its local files. Because the App creates no server or cloud record, there is no App account or remote child record to erase or export.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning personal information you sent us in a support message. Contact privacy@theirfirstwords.org. We may ask you to confirm that the request concerns your own message.

10. International users

App data never leaves the device. If an adult contacts support or visits this website from outside the United States, that message or visit may be processed in the United States or wherever our service providers operate.

11. Security

The strongest protection is not collecting data in the first place. The App transmits no child activity and keeps no account credentials, cloud play record, analytics, or advertising stream. We protect the support messages we receive with reasonable safeguards.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the App or legal requirements change. We will update the “Last updated” date above and provide any notice or obtain any consent required by law.
