Is Their First Tidy free?
Yes—completely. There are no ads, in-app purchases, subscriptions, paid unlocks, accounts, or locked activities. All ten worlds and all forty tidy-up scenes are included.
How does my child start playing?
On the opening rail, browse the forty scene cards — four gentle tidy-ups in each of ten worlds — and tap one to enter that scene. Drag, slide, fit, stack, pair, or guide the visible objects back to their homes. The house-shaped Home control returns directly to the scene rail.
Does the app save my child's activity?
It keeps one small, nameless record on the device: which scenes have been tidied (so their cards show as Tidied), the current scene-card position, and the grown-up's Sound On/Off choice. It stores no name, age, profile, scores, timestamps, or any other play history, and nothing ever leaves the device. Every scene opens as a fresh mess to tidy again.
How do I reset progress?
Open the Grown-Up Menu and choose Reset Progress. This clears which scenes are marked Tidied and the scene-card position. It does not change the Sound choice.
Where is the Grown-Ups area?
On the scene rail, press and hold the wood plaque labelled “Hold 2s to Learn More” continuously for two seconds. A brass fill moves across the plaque while the hold is in progress; releasing early resets it. Completing the hold opens the Grown-Up Menu, which contains Sound On/Off, Reset Progress, a Their First Words family-app card, Website, Contact Support, Privacy, and Version.
How do I turn sound off?
Open the Grown-Ups area and set Sound to Off. This silences the app completely and the choice is remembered on the device. Instrumental background music is the app's only sound.
Does the app work offline?
Yes. All ten worlds, their scenes, artwork, and music are bundled into the app. Playing, navigating, and saving progress and the Sound choice require no wifi or mobile data. The only external navigation is the set of fixed, parent-gated handoffs in the Grown-Up Menu — Their First Words, Website, Contact Support, and Privacy — each handed to the operating system without any play or settings data attached.
Is anything backed up or transferred to another device?
No. Their First Tidy excludes its local files from Android cloud backup, Android device-to-device transfer, and iCloud backup. It has no account or cloud sync.
What should I include in a support message?
Tell us the device model, operating-system version, app version, the world and activity involved, and what you saw. A screenshot can help. Please do not send your child's name, photo, voice, birthday, or other personal information.
