Set up a session

1. Use a computer with a physical keyboard when available. The on-screen guide shows where to press. The course can be completed without sound.
2. Pick a language course. English starts here; the course selector includes eight other languages. English guidance supports the typing exercises, which begin with keys and build toward words and longer text.
3. Let each learner set the pace. There are no speed gates, streak requirements, or forced breaks. A learner can pause or finish a session and return later.

Choose how to keep progress

One learner on one browser profile

Guest progress is saved in that browser on that device. No email is needed to begin. Clearing browser data can remove it.

Several learners on one computer

Guest progress is tied to the browser profile, not to a learner’s name. If several learners use the same profile as guests, their histories can mix. Separate browser profiles keep guest histories apart where the device permits them.

Using more than one device

Optional email sign-in saves progress to an account for use across devices. Where accounts are appropriate, each learner who needs an individual saved history should use their own account and sign out before handing a shared device to someone else. Read the sign-up disclosure before choosing this option.

Privacy and practical limits

For current details about browser storage and account data, read the privacy summary. The course has no classroom roster, teacher dashboard, or class assignment feature. A school or family can choose its own approach to device and account use.

If a learner needs keyboard setup help for another script or accent, open that course and use its keyboard guidance. If a shared device cannot keep guest histories separate, it may be simpler to use the lessons without treating the displayed progress as an individual record.
