A practical guide to what is on the screen, what stays on your device, and how to join your child for a first tidy-up.
They enter an illustrated scene with objects out of place and move them to their homes. Depending on the scene, that may mean dragging, sliding, pairing, stacking, hanging, fitting, or gently guiding an object. The scene has an authored starting arrangement and a finished state; it is not a timer or a score chase.
There are ten worlds with four tidy-up scenes each: forty scenes total. They range from the Playroom and Library to the Research Boat and Space Station Cabin. All are available from the start. The scene cards sit on one browsable rail, grouped by world.
Choose a scene card from the rail. The scene opens in its messy starting state. The house-shaped Home button returns to the rail during play. For a closer look at an actual scene, see our first tidy-up guide.
The completed room stays on screen briefly, then the app returns to that scene's card on the rail, now marked Tidied. Your child can open the scene again later; it starts as a fresh mess to tidy again. The Tidied mark stays unless a grown-up resets progress.
No reading is needed for child play, and the app has no spoken narration or voice instructions. The app itself is English only; a grown-up can still describe what they see in any language while playing together.
Yes. The scenes have separate layouts for phones and tablets. The game plays in landscape orientation on both; turn the device sideways before beginning.
Yes. All ten worlds and forty scenes are included, with no ads, in-app purchases, subscriptions, or paid unlocks.
Yes. The scenes, art, and instrumental music are bundled in the app, and play and progress-saving work offline. Parent-initiated links in the Grown-Up Menu can hand off to the device's browser or email app.
On the device, the app remembers which scene cards are marked Tidied, your place on the rail, and the grown-up's Sound choice. It does not need an account and does not store a child's name, age, scores, or play history. There is no cloud sync or transfer of that local progress to another device.
On the scene rail, tap For Parents. Answer the short addition question to open the Grown-Up Menu. It contains Sound and Reset Progress along with adult-initiated links for Words, the website, support, and privacy. A wrong answer or a tap outside the question closes it.
Yes. In the Grown-Up Menu, set Sound to Off. The app remembers the choice on that device. Instrumental music is the app's only sound; there is no spoken guidance.
Open the Grown-Up Menu and choose Reset Progress. That clears the Tidied marks and rail position. It does not change the Sound choice. Every scene can also be replayed without resetting.
