Most of them — 342 of the 526 — are your child’s own lines, not instructions you give. The rest are yours to say, or a playmate’s. Each one is illustrated, so the picture carries the meaning before the words do.

A two-word request and a short sentence sit side by side, so you pick what fits today — there are no age groups to choose here. In languages where the wording changes with who is speaking, each card is written to match the child in its picture. If your child is still naming things, start with the words, and come back here when single words stop being enough.
